Saw this comment and dug up my USB 3 hub I never use, popped all my USB 2 cables out of the back of my MOBO and plugged them into the hub, plugged that into one of the USB 3 ports, and IT WORKS!!! Thank you!!!
Try using a USB extension cable to move the wireless adapter up and away from the PC. Try using the wireless adapter on another known working computer. Try another known working wireless adapter on your computer. Determine if the problems follow the adapter or stay with your computer. Run "ipconfig /all" via the Command Prompt. Post the results
I use an ethernet adapater (USB-C) with my laptop, and i have a strange behavior that i can't fix. When i start my PC with the adapater already plugged-in, everything is fine during approximately 1min max. Then, the adapater disconnect for maybe 20sec and reconnect for 1min, then it's a loop, it does that until i unplug/replug it.
10-01-2021 10:30 PM in. I have the S20 FE and I am trying to use it on my Lenovo laptop to transfer files via USB but it keeps rapidly connecting and disconnecting. The status of the phone charging since it's plugged in never changes but nothing will work. The sounds for it connecting/disconnecting keep playing constantly.
